Ronaldo rants at his own coaches following club defeat

Ronaldo lost his cool by launching a furious verbal volley toward his coaching staff during the half-time whistle.

Cristiano Ronaldo was involved in a furious spat with the Al-Nassr coaching team after his side lost 1-0 on Monday night.

Nassr lost 1-0 to Al-Wehda in the King Cup of Champions semi-final. The club has been knocked out of three different competitions this season, with the King Cup being the latest.

Ronaldo lost his cool by launching a furious verbal volley towards his coaching staff during the half-time whistle. As both Al-Nassr and Al-Wehda players walked off at the break, a visibly upset Ronaldo was seen walking towards the bench before angrily remonstrating at the coaching staff.

The 38-year-old forward endured a miserable evening and let his frustrations get the better of him following missed opportunities.

Ronaldo moved to the Middle East after leaving Manchester United late last year following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

The Portugese then went on to captain his country Portugal to the World Cup last year scoring a single goal in that campaign.

Portugal were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Morocco

Since joining the Saudi Arabian Pro League, the Portuguese great has scored 11 goals in 11 matches so far in the league.

Al-Nassr are currently in second place in the Saudi Arabia Pro League but are just three points behind log leaders Al-Ittihad Club.

Nassr are also without a manager after parting company with previous boss Rudi Garcia earlier this month. The Frenchman spent less than 12 months at the club.

“The board and everyone at Al Nassr would like to thank Rudi and his staff for their dedicated work during the past 8 months”, a club statement said.
