Rassie Erasmus. Some would describe him as a national hero. Others would say his dance moves are a bit dodgy. Both of these assertions are spot on. After serving a two-month suspension the SARU Director of Rugby will finally get back to work next week. Before he does though, he has taken to Twitter again to bless us with another hilarious video. This time, it’s his daughters absolutely brilliantly handing it to World Rugby.

Rassie Erasmus and his daughters take on World Rugby (kind of)

From Frank the dog becoming all kinds of famous, to “ban ban baby”. Erasmus, first let us all into his world as he lived his best December (Dezemba) life. His antics even got the rest of us South Africans involved. A clip of him showing off his best dance moves went down so well, it inspired a whole dance challenge.

While Rassie himself has never shied away from jokingly poking fun at World Rugby, his three daughters have now joined in on the act. They have expressed their gratitude for their dad’s suspension only lasting two months.

“Thank you so much for only making it two months. Honestly, thank you. we are so tired of him being at home and we have received enough life lessons. So it’s time for him to go back. This experience came with positives and negatives. So thank you so much for the two months and not a DAY more.”

We will miss the Frank updates

With Rassie Erasmus back at work, we are worried about no longer receiving updates on Frank. Frank quickly became the nation’s favourite “British” bulldog. As the Erasmus kids explained, he managed to secure his identity as a proud South African.

If you’re feeling lost without as much Rassie content. One South African with probably waaay too much time on their hands in December created a “Dancing Rassie” Twitter account. In the month the account has been active, there are hundreds of different clips of Rassie’s dance. The catch? They’re the same moves, just all to completely different songs.

Here’s the latest one to watch before you go.
