​Raja Casablanca rubbish talks with ex-Sundowns boss Mosimane

Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca have denied reports that they are talking to former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane

North African giants Raja Casablanca have rubbished the reports that they are in talks with ex-Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane.

According to the latest report carried by iDiski Times, the former Sundowns coach, Mosimane is set to leave the Saudi Arabian side, Al Ahli Saudi at the end of the season and might join Casablanca.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns manager guided the Saudi outfit to the top tier after winning the Yelo League championship but it seems Raja Casablanca are in denial as far as talks are concerned.

RAJA CASABLANCA REPONDS TO PITSO MOSIMANE LINKS

Raja Casablanca’s spokesperson told Yallakora per iDiski Times, and dismissed the reports that they are talking to the former Bafana Bafana, Sundowns and Al Ahly boss, Mosimane.

Mosimane is tipped to replace Tunisian coach Mondher Kebaier ahead of the new Botola Pro League campaign.

“The club did not enter into negotiations with Pitso Musimane in order to be a substitute for Tunisian Mondher Al-Kabir,” a spokesperson told Yallakora.

As things stand, Raja occupies the sixth spot in the log table after winning just nine of their 26 games this term.

The standings and results have cast doubts over the future of head coach, Kebaier as Mosimane is reportedly tipped to join the side.

MOSIMANE’S FUTURE REMAINS UNDECIDED IN SAUDI ARABIA

Having successfully led the club to the elite division and Ahli is set to face the likes of Al Nassr which features former Real Madrid skipper, Cristiano Ronaldo, they are said to be looking for a European coach.

It has emerged that the club’s hierarchy is courting a manager who is more experienced and Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri’s name is mentioned.

According to the club president Walid Moaz’s sentiments, they will hold talks with Mosimane after the final league match against Al-Hazem next week.

Looking at Ahli’s fixtures, they are scheduled to finish their campaign on Monday, May 29 and Mosimane is also linked with the Nigerian national team coaching role.
