Baroka once again spoiled Orlando Pirates party, as they denied them a chace to top the log by holding them to a 1-1 draw.

Orlando Pirates missed a golden opportunity tp capitalise on Bidvest Wits slip up, as they suffered were held to a 1-1 defeat to Baroka at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Buccaneers needed three points to tie the Clever Boys at the top of the table after the log leaders were held to a 3-3 draw by Polokwane City over the weekend.
However, a lacklustre performance from the Soweto giants ensured that the Soweto giants would spend much of the contest chasing the equaliser.
This was after a stunning free-kick from Matome Mabeba, who fired in past a despairing Jackson Mabokgwane for the opener in the 13th minute.
Pirates’ attempts at drawing level proved fruitless, as a resolute defence from the visitors held firm, only until five minutes from full time, when Vincent Pule headed in to level matters.
Goals by Thapelo Morena and Themba Zwane, both within the first 20 minutes ensured Mamelodi Sundowns walk away with all three points when they visited Highlands Park on Tuesday.
The hosts’ only goal came via a former Sundowns player in Lindokuhle Mbatha, who netted in the 32nd minute to half the deficit.
