The weekend’s PSL fixtures continue into a rather action packed Sunday afternoon, with eight clubs all in action at the same time.

The title race may have eased up in intensity, going into the final four fixtures, as log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns managed to create some daylight between themselves and the chasing pack – as they opened they went six points clear at the top. This was courtesy of last night’s home victory against defending champions, Bidvest Wits.

Sundowns’ victory eliminated all but second placed, Orlando Pirates from the title race, who still have an outside chance of upsetting the apple cart, although that is all mathematical, as they Pretoria side need only a further seven points to secure the title.
