After an entertaining weekend of PSL action, it continues again this week with the first midweek fixture kicking off on Tuesday.

The week’s action should interest a lot of fans of the local game as the two traditional giants of SA football, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates both take centre stage after impressive results over the weekend, while Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to do better than the draw they picked up on Sunday.

PSL fixtures: Tuesday, 18 September

Free State Stars vs Kaizer Chiefs – Goble Park

Expect a full house at Goble Park as Kaizer Chiefs travel there to take on their new coach’s former side Free State Stars in Tuesday night’s only fixture.

The two sides have met already this season in the MTN8, where the Glamour Boys walked away with a convincing 3-0 victory. They will be hoping to keep the winning momentum going, having brushed aside a ten-man Cape Town City on their own turf in their previous outing.

Lamontville Golden Arrows vs Mamelodi Sundowns – Princess Magogo Stadium

Defending PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns remain in Durban for a few more days, following their pulsating three-all draw against AmaZulu over the weekend.

This time around they are at Princess Magogo Stadium, where they will take on Lamontville Golden Arrows in one of Wednesday night’s mouth-watering clashes.

Orlando Pirates vs Cape Town City – Orlando Stadium

The pick of the midweek fixtures takes place at Orlando Stadium, where Orlando Pirates welcome a wounded Cape Town City.

The side from the Mother City suffered a humiliating 4-1 loss at home to the Buccaneers bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend and will be hoping to bounce back against the hosts, who are flying high after convincingly beating their hoodoo team Supersport United on Saturday.
