Watford continue their English Premier League adventure in the 2018/19 season.

They do so with the revolving door at Vicarage Road spinning as wildly as ever.

The idiosyncratic ownership of the Italian Pozzo family could leave Hornets fans forgiven for not knowing who half of the players or staff are on any given week.

One remarkable feature after last season’s 14th-placed finish is the continued presence of Javi Gracia as coach.

Nothing to do with his talents, rather the Pozzo’s penchant for changing the man in the dugout at any given opportunity.

The playing staff also continues to change left, right and centre.

Brazilian winger Richarlison is the biggest mover, following ex-boss Marco Silva to Everton in a deal that could reach £50 million.

In the other direction, mercurial Gerard Deulofeu has made his loan move from Barcelona permanent.

Full backs Adam Masina and Marc Navarro have signed in cut-price deals from Bologna and Espanyol respectively.

Ken Sema, meanwhile, has made the move from tiny Swedish Europa League darlings Ostersunds.

It could be a long old season in Hertfordshire, although the boardroom fireworks should at least ensure it’s not a dull one.
