The USA won their home leg of the World Rugby Sevens series and one of the most electrifying moments was provided by star man, Perry Baker as he ran the length of the field to help his side defeat Fiji en route to the final of the Las Vegas Sevens on Sunday.

The 31-year old who converted to rugby after an injury cut short his NFL career toyed with the island nation’s defence as, after receiving the ball just inches from his try line, he unleashed a vicious step which took out at least three defenders before easily beating another one as he raced for the tryline.

The home side would go further as they triumphed over the South Americans to clinch their first title of this season’s edition of the world series with Baker finishing as the top try scorer as he dotted down eight times.
