Mzansi Super League: Cape Town Blitz vs Nelson Mandela Bay Giants

Mzansi Super League action returns to the Mother City, where the only two unbeaten sides in the competition clash as Cape Town Blitz squares off against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.

The hosts have played twice so far in the competition, outclassing Tshwane Spartans in the tournament opener at home on Friday, before claiming a tight away win over Durban Heat at Kingsmead on Sunday.

They will be further boosted by another big name in Proteas wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock, who is now available for selection, having returned from national duty in Australia.

The Blitz comes up against a Giants side looking to build having also won their opener, as some explosive batting from England international Ben Duckett saw register a comfortable victory over Jozi Stars at The Wanderers on Saturday, after restricting them to a modest 124/7.

The PE-based outfit also receives a further boost in the form of veteran leg-spinner Imran Tahir and all rounder Chris Morris who, like De Kock, returned from Down Under earlier in the week.

A victory for the Giants will open things up in the table, as it will bring them closer to their log-leading opponents.
