Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki reveals why they are already under pressure as they head to Tshwane to face Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday.

Ntseki reveals that the fans have put his Chiefs troops under immense pressure going to their second clash of the DStv Premiership against Sundowns.

In the wake of the dull stalemate versus Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium, Ntseki says he understands how the club’s fans feel about the lack of silverware.

UNDER PRESSURE NTSEKI ADMITS CHIEFS MUST IMPROVE

Chiefs have unveiled interesting signings in the pre-season and that signalled their intentions to bring back glory days.

The Soweto giants have signed the likes of Ranga Chivaviro, Edson Castillo, and Mduduzi Mdantsane among others.

“The disappointment has been far too long,” said Ntseki per iDiski Times.

“We might be looked to be under pressure currently because of the disappointment of our supporters that have been experiencing in the past.

“As I said, the technical team is looking forward to doing their best and to giving back to the supporters.

“We are fully aware and this is more of a motivation to ask to do well and to make our supporters happy.

“Because when our supporters are happy, that is when we are able to say we are Love and Peace.” 

NTSEKI: CHIEFS AWARE OF BIG ASSIGNMENT AGAINST SUNDOWNS

The South African recently reported that the former Bafana Bafana coach, Ntseki is aware that they have a massive task against Sundowns.

Ntseki is now tasked with returning the glory days back to Naturena as they succumbed to two losses against Sundowns last season.

“Going into the Sundowns game, I think we all know it’s a big game. We are all looking forward to a good performance and a good performance will obviously bring a good result,” said Ntseki.

“What is important for us now is to say, mentally we are ready, tactically we are going to work on the strengths and weaknesses of our opponent and we will also be exacting ourselves in terms of what are our best qualities.”

The eagerly anticipated clash will be staged at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 15:00.
