A spokesperson from MiddleEasy.com has commented on the findings: “UFC is a growing promotion and MMA is an increasingly popular sport across America, so we took a look at who are the most Googled fighters within the UFC and where they ranked within each American state.

“The data shows that the big names such as Israel Adesanya and Khamzhat Chimaev are consistently the most Googled in every state, however the data does show instances where fighters such as Max Holloway or Dustin Poirier rank first in searches in their native state, showing a tribal loyalty and home state support for American-grown athletes despite the ever growing multinational outlook of the UFC roster.”
