Champions League draw: Here are the quarter-final match ups for 2018

The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals have been decided after the draw took place on Friday afternoon. Here are the match ups.

Not that the fixtures aren’t exciting, but it always feels like a mega let down after all that fanfare.

12:36 If you’re wondering how big of a deal this draw is in some corners of the world, check this out from today’s edition of Marca. That translates to “the greatest draw in the world”. Bit extra, but hey, different strokes and all of that…

12:15 The draw will start at 13:00 SAST and takes place at Uefa’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

How does the draw work?

The draw will work a bit differently to the last-16 draw, there will be no seedings and teams from the same country can play each other.

Teams drawn first will play the first leg at home, teams drawn second will, therefore, play the second leg at home.

Who is in the Champions League Quarter Finals?

With Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur being kicked out, it’s now up to Manchester City or Liverpool to bring some european glory back to England. Could they get it done?
