Time is running out for Wits in the PSL title race, but thanks to league leaders Kaizer Chiefs’ inconsistent form, Gavin Hunt’s men are still in with a shout.

In order to stay in the running, Hunt needs to ensure his charges pick up three points against Black Leopards, his former side.

Wits trail Chiefs by 13 points with two games in hand and have 10 league fixtures left to play this season.

Despite hinting his disappointment at Sifiso Hlanti following Wits’ 2-0 defeat to SuperSport United, Hunt kept him in the side for the 0-0 draw with Chippa United

Defending PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns seek to return to winning ways following their Champions League quarter-final heartbreak as they visit Stellenbosch at Athlone Stadium.

Sundowns were beaten 3-1 on aggregate by Al Ahly in CAF’s premier continental tournament. Nevertheless, they have been handed a lifeline in the league title race by Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-0 defeat to AmaZulu.

Coach Pitso Mosimane has claimed that more signings are soon to join the Brazilians. As a result, anybody who he hands game time to will need to grab the opportunity with both hands to survive in an already competitive squad.
