This guy is still as homophobic as ever.

Wallabies star Israel Folau is now pretty well known for his homophobic stance. From saying gay people will end up in hell, to threatening to quit rugby over the negative reaction he received, this guy doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.

This time, he’s posted a link on social media to a video opposing same-sex marriage.

Folau is an extremely devout Christian and also happens to be one of the biggest rugby names in Australia. His previous comments saw him escape any form of sanctions even though Rugby Australia has a specific inclusion policy. He was even called out by some high-profile players in the sport.

The 29-year-old told the media last week that he has “no regrets” about his previous comments and would not be shying away from his beliefs.

In the 11 minute video Folau posted on Tuesday, American evangelist David Wilkerson warns against “tolerance” of same-sex marriage. The sermon is accompanied with the rainbow flag, rats caught in traps ticking clocks.

“We’re living in a time of unprecedented greed, rampant inequality, sexual perversions beyond description,” he said.

Folau said he was sharing the video with “great love” in the hope that people watch it and “think about it”.

A fellow Christian tried to call him out and tell him that he should have “love and grace” for everyone.

Warning people of eternal punishment if they continue to live in their sin isn’t judgemental. It’s called love, I won’t apologise for believing and following the word of God,” Folau said in reply.

Folau has been capped 62 times by the Wallabies after converting from rugby league in 2013. He has also had a brief stint in Aussie Rules football.

Reports indicate that Rugby Australia is facing a tough task of attempting to re-sign Folau and keep sponsors happy. Qantas airline has already spoken out against Folau’s stance and the player’s contract is up at the end of the year.
