Is Grealish finally repaying the £100 million transfer fee?

Grealish has played a vital role for the Citizens this season with many saying he’s beginning to live up to his price tag.

Manchester City winger Jack Grealish is in the form of his life and might be slowly paying back the £100 million transfer fee.

The 27-year-old England international had a frustrating start to his City career but is showing signs of being he is known to possess.

Grealish has played a vital role for the Citizens this season with many saying he’s beginning to live up to his price tag.

His coach Pep Guardiola was full of praise for the star.

“He’s playing really good this season. But at the same time, like he knows, we want more,” 

“Now he believes he is part of it. Maybe when he arrived he thought: ‘I’m not good enough after the team won the Premier League.’

Guardiola says Grealish is now an important player for the club

“Sometimes players adapt immediately, sometimes they need more time. Jack(Grealish) didn’t come here for just one season, he’s here for a long time. He’s an important player for us.”

The England international has so far started all of City’s last 12 Premier League games

Grealish has also played a key role in City’s Champions League matches especially in the knockout stages.

“In the back of my mind the fact that Pep is trusting me in big games helps the confidence,” Grealish said last month
“I do feel I have repaid him, played my part, done well. And I think that is why he is keeping me in the team.”

The former Aston Villa man has paid Guardiola’s faith and is starting to deliver in big moments and could play a crucial role if City are to win a treble this season.
