Floyd Mayweather cashes in BIG TIME after Dustin Poirier TKOs Conor McGregor

Floyd Mayweather cashed in BIG TIME on the Dustin Poirier v Conor McGregor trilogy fight at UFC 264 in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Floyd Mayweather cashed in BIG TIME on the Dustin Poirier v Conor McGregor trilogy fight at UFC 264 in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Mayweather posted on Instagram he had won a bet he had placed on the fight.

He put $50 000 on Poirier to defeat McGregor and in the end, that’s exactly what was happened.

Mayweather won just over $35 700 on the fight.

Poirier was a -140 favourite to win the fight.

The fight was officially ruled as a “doctor’s stoppage” at the end of the first round after a bloodied McGregor swung and missed a punch then stumbled backwards, his lower leg grotesquely buckling under him near the edge of the octagon. 

Poirier then pounced on a helpless McGregor, raining down a series of punches and elbows until McGregor was saved by the bell in front of the capacity crowd at the T-Mobile arena. 

Poirier is now 28-6 overall and McGregor fell to 22-6.
