Gameweek 27 ploughs into Sunday with two key EPL Fixtures ready and waiting for us. It’s a great day for making no plans, and only arranging a date with the TV.

Sunday’s games see three of the top five in action, plus a team who are desperately scrambling for points to avoid relegation:

EPL Fixtures for Sunday 25 January

Crystal Palace V Tottenham Hotspur, 14:00

It’s a London derby of utmost significance, as a struggling Palace side welcome Spurs to Selhurst Park. The home side has hit a sticky patch after a brilliant run initially took them out of the relegation zone. But now, they hover above it only on goal difference.

It’s been a majestic 2018 for Tottenham Hotspur, who have put some early season jitters right behind them. A win for the visitors would see them temporarily lifted into the top four, at Chelsea’s expense.

A solitary Son Hyeung-Min strike gave Spurs victory when these two teams met back in November. This is expected to be a tense affair again this afternoon.

Manchester United V Chelsea, 16:05

There’s a superb showdown at Old Trafford later in the day. Both sides could do with the proverbial kick up the arse to get them back to playing their best football.

As previously mentioned, Chelsea’s stay in the top four is under serious threat from Spurs. Meanwhile, a lacklustre Manchester United have been failing to create chances and keep the pressure on Manchester City. In fact, Liverpool leapfrogged them into second place on Saturday

United will be looking for revenge after they lost the reverse fixture 1-0 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season. But will it be Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte who ease the pressure on themselves?

Are Arsenal and Manchester City playing this weekend?

There have been two notable omissions from our EPL fixtures round up this weekend. That’s because Arsenal and City are contesting the League Cup final at Wembley, so won’t be undertaking any Premier League obligations this week. You can read our preview for this clash right here.
