The 2023 national championships

The event itself had five categories in both the men’s and women’s divisions: Sub Junior, Junior, Youth, Under-23 and Elite. The women’s division also had a ‘Masters’ category for over 30’s.

If you are wondering, XCO is international cycling code for “Cross Country” while XCC is for “Cross Country Short Track”.

This is the first time that Cycling SA has hosted a XCC Short Course National Champs for Elite Men and Women.
