In a rain-affected first T20 on Saturday, the Proteas ultimately fell just short against the big-hitting West Indies outfit, losing by three wickets in a game that went down to the last over.

The Proteas have named a powerful squad for this series, with in-form Aiden Markram taking on the captaincy duties in a key new role for the talented batsman.

It’s expected that there will be some changes made to the Proteas starting lineup for the second encounter.
