Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma the latest to join Roc Nation stable

Proteas white-ball captain Temba Bavuma has become the latest SA athlete to sign up with international management company Roc Nation Sports.

Proteas white-ball captain Temba Bavuma has become the latest South African athlete to sign up with international management company Roc Nation Sports.

Bavuma joins fellow Proteas international Lungi Ngidi at the company as well as Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.

The 30-year-old Temba Bavuma became the first black African player to be appointed as limited overs captain of the Proteas in March this year.

He has played 44 Tests, nine ODIs and eight T20Is for the Proteas, while becoming the first black African player to score a Test century when he reached the milestone against England in 2016.

Temba Bavuma will be represented by Roc Nation Sports across all on and off the field aspects of his career.

He said: “I am at an important phase of my career and I feel it is crucial to have the right people and support for me to achieve my objectives on and off the field.
