In New Balance’s parting of ways press release, the apparel manufacturer did state their willingness to help CSA with Proteas kit, during their transitioning period to their new sponsor. But having announced Castore, as well as a picture of white ball cricket captain Temba Bavuma, posing alongside Lions teammate Rassie Van Der Dussen, in a new kit, it would appear that the new manufacturer might already have that side of things finalised as well.

CSA also announced that the contract with Castore would run for three years, expiring in September 2024.

CSA welcomes Castore

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Castore on board to our team of sponsors and suppliers,” said CSA acting chief executive Pholetsi Moseki. “Castore is one of the big players in the world of sports technical apparel and they are involved around the world with such diverse sporting codes as Formula 1, cycling, football, athletics and swimming.
