South Africa will go head to head with Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi in a crucial clash (for one side at least) in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup on Tuesday, 2 November.

The first delivery is due to be bowled at 12:00 SA time.

Following a narrow loss against Australia to begin their campaign, South Africa have since strung together two victories and thus stand a chance of making the semi-finals, while Bangladesh have struck out after three losses on the bounce.

To further boost the chances of the Proteas, they’ve won all six prior T20 matches against Bangladesh.

KEY BATTLE

South African batsman Aiden Markram is in a rich vein of form, having struck 110 runs at 55 thus far in the tournament. He will want to outperform Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah, who is averaging 60 in the Super 12 stage of the competition.
