AB de Villiers crunched nine fours and three sixes in his innings, finishing 76 not out with a strike rate of 223, helping Bangalore to 204/4 in their 20 overs.

The Bangalore bowlers then chipped away at Kolkata, getting regular wickets and reducing them to 166/8 to win by 38 runs.
