Cape Town City vs Black Leopards: Head to head, teams, kick off and live stream

Cape Town City are in search for a second consecutive league victory as they welcome Black Leopards to the Mother City on Sunday afternoon.

The Citizens claimed their first victory since their season opener when they neat AmaZulu 3-0 in their last outing, and will be looking to climb up the PSL log even further with another win at the Cape Town Stadium.

What the teams are saying

They come up against a side fresh off an away defeat – to Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium – but coach Benni McCarthy cautioned against underestimating the newly-promoted side.

“Leopards’ game (against Chiefs) gave me a good indication of what we are up against,” he said.

“They are a newly promoted team, but they haven’t disappointed. They are a hard-working team, they’re very sound technically, and they can cause problems if we do not do our homework.

“But while Leopards are dangerous, they also commit quite a lot of players forward. They are always attacking.”

Like their opponents, Black Leopards have also won just twice in the league so far this season and sit a lowly 13th on the log.

Lidoda Duvha have had a tough time of it on their return to the top flight, and are coming off a four-match winless run across all competitions which has included three defeats.
