FAMILY LIVING IN FEAR

“We got an SMS telling us where the rest of the body parts were, we found the arms and other parts,” Zimoja quoted Philasande’s grandmother Ntombi Shange as saying.

The family says that they are living in fear as they think the person who was busy texting them could be possibly living among them.

“It is scary now living here. We are sure that the said torturer is someone we know and it’s someone who is very close to us. At some point, this person sent us a message telling us to move out of the area as they don’t want us there. When we try to call back the number that is harassing us goes straight to voicemail. We feel helpless as cops are also battling to catch the person behind all this,” said Ntombi as quoted by the report.

NO ARREST HAS BEEN MADE

The true identity of the recovered body parts, as well as the possible cause of death, are being investigated.

No one has been arrested in connection with the murder. Philasande has yet to be buried because his family is awaiting the results of DNA tests.
