BREAKING: Man shot dead in yet ANOTHER drive-by shooting

One man was killed in YET ANOTHER drive-by shooting in KwaZulu-Natal, while another man caught in the crossfire suffered serious injuries

Emergency services responded to yet another drive-by shooting, this time at the intersection of Dumisani Makhaye and Queen Nandi Drive, KwaZulu-Natal on Friday, 27 January 2023.

Man found with multiple gunshot wounds after drive-by shooting

A man, around 50-years-old, was found in a Toyota Hilux with multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics declared the man dead upon their arrival.

A second man, around 30-years-old, was caught in the crossfire and sustained serious injuries.

He was treated and stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

According to reports from the scene, the vehicle came to a halt at the intersection when an unknown number of armed suspects approached and sprayed it with high-caliber bullets.

The South African Police Services (SAPS) were present and will conduct the necessary investigations.

Another incident in KwaZulu-Natal this week

Emergency services responded to the scene of a drive-by shooting on Wednesday, 25 January, at around 19:30 on Havelock Road in the Greenwood Park area of KwaZulu-Natal.

When paramedics arrived, they discovered two men who had been shot multiple times.

They were treated and stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

According to witnesses, the men were sitting in a car when it was sprayed with bullets from a passing vehicle.

The South African Police Services (SAPS) were present and will conduct the necessary investigations.
