Everybody was eagerly awaiting the birth of former South African Olympic swimmer, Princess Charlene of Monaco, and Prince Albert’s twins on 10 December 2014. Baby Jacques and Gabriella are now first and second in line for the the throne and have just been shown to the world. Here are the only interesting facts we gleaned from their public appearance.

The size of one of the twins is proportionate to the length of Prince Albert’s forearm

They resemble white sausages and perfectly match with mommy Charlene’s outfit

They appear to be thoroughly bored by their public appearance, sleeping the entire way through

Although at one point one of them made an attempt to escape out of Prince Albert’s arms

There is no photographic evidence of the couple having held their babies before (other than in a Christmas photo on Facebook). No wonder Charlene’s arm is so awkward.
