Motsoeneng’s time is up and he might be taking Faith Muthambi down with him

Folks thought this day would never come, but SABC COO has finally been given the boot; although in true government style he’s technically still the COO. Now, while Motsoeneng is on the way out, what’s more important is that communications minister Faith Muthambi could finally face the wrath of the ANC – in the past she’s pretty much done whatever she wanted –.

So, what’s on the cards for Motsoeneng and Muthambi? Well, Muthambi knew that Motsoeneng lied to the SABC when they hired him – his qualifications don’t actually exist – and did nothing about it. In fact, it looked like she was protecting him.

These two pretty much pushed the ANC as far as they could and the ruling party’s patience has just about run out, leaving both of them to the mercy of the courts. More so Motsoeneng though, as his tenure is marred by irregularities and overspending.

Watch this space; Motsoeneng still has a lot of fight left in him and he won’t likely ‘go quietly’.
