Young university professor MISSING in Meloding, Free State

Khatliso Edwin isreported missing by his family in the Meloding in the Free State. He was with a friend at the time of his disappearance

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is requesting help in finding the missing 28-year-old university professor Khatliso Edwin. He was last seen at the Calabria in Meloding, in the Free State, on 5 May 2023, where he resides with his brother.

ACCORDING TO HIS BROTHER, HE WAS VISITING A FRIEND WHEN HE WENT MISSING

According to his brother, Thabo, he believed that Khatliso was visiting a friend to watch a soccer game and never returned.

On 7 May 2023, Thabo called his brother, and the cellphone rang without an answer.

The family is believed to have contacted Khatliso’s friends and other relatives about his whereabouts but could not get answers.

HE HAS ALSO NOT SHOWN UP FOR WORK

The family also enquired about his place of work at the university in Welkom, but they reported that he had not shown up for work since his disappearance.

The police report that his wife, who lives in Johannesburg, was also contacted, and she reported that she last spoke to Khatliso on 7 May 2023.

The room where he lives was also searched, and it found that his cellphone and wallet were not found. He also left his vehicle at home. The vehicle’s registration number is HKL 032 FS.

It is not knowing what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

HE IS SHORT IN HEIGHT, HAS A LIGHT COMPLEXION, AND HAS SHORT HAIR
