A 22-year-old female who allegedly experienced spiritual attacks while at work tried to kill herself after losing her job.

After losing her job, a 22-year-old female from Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal, allegedly consumed rat poison in an attempt to end her life.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa), an employee from a fast food restaurant on Gopalall Hurbans Road in the Tongaat CBD contacted Rusa for assistance for the semi-conscious woman.
A WOMAN FOUND CONVULSING ON THE FLOOR
When Rusa medical personnel arrived on the scene at 14:18, they discovered the female convulsing on the floor of the outside eating area.
Rat poison was discovered near her.
She was stabilised on the scene before being transported to the nearest medical facility for further treatment.

SHE WROTE A SUICIDAL NOTE
A suicidal note was allegedly written by the female and discovered next to her.
The female stated in the letter that she intended to end her life because she was constantly subjected to spiritual attacks at work.
She went on to say that she performed all rituals to please her ancestors, but the spiritual attacks continued, causing her to lose her job.
“The female has not been identified at this stage,” said Rusa.
