If nothing else, Duduzile Zuma-Sambdula – Jacob Zuma’s daughter – is steadfast in her own convictions. The firebrand offspring of the former president has emerged as one of the family’s most effective communicators in the past few months, due to her consistent use of social media platforms. However, her Tweets very rarely fail to spark divisions.

Who is Zuma’s daughter, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla?

Duduzile was even accused of inciting further violence during the July Riots, although she was never investigated by police. Zuma’s daughter was seen to be ‘cheerleading’ acts of violence, posting videos of torched vehicles and large crowds blocking major roads. Needless to say, her use of Twitter has continued unapologetically.

As rumours about her father’s return home to Nkandla gather pace, DZS has filled the vacuum of speculation with some more controversial musings. On Thursday, she posted two Tweets that argue Cyril Ramaphosa ‘is the one creating factions within the ANC’, as opposed to her father and his RET supporters.

Zuma’s daughter echoed the sentiments of the former head of state, claiming that he is being unfairly prosecuted in the courts – this, despite Msholozi’s legal team winning some key battles in recent weeks. She then proposed a ‘solution’ to this issue, firing off a list of actions she feels the ANC need to take to transform the country.

And, if you’re white, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla might just come and wave you off at the airport. How thoughtful…
