‘We’ll take land in Stellenbosch’: Zuma’s daughter seeks ConCourt revenge

The Zuma family isn’t taking ConCourt’s majority decision too well this week – and one member of the Nkandla household seeks payback via land invasions…

Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Dudu, is making a name for herself throughout this whole saga: Her father was sentenced to 15 months in prison, and after previously claiming he would not be afraid to spend more time in jail, Msholozi is now doing everything he can to stay out of the slammer – but do the family already have one eye on a ‘revenge mission’?

‘We are coming for our land, starting in Stellenbosch’ – Zuma’s daughter Dudu rallies supporters

According to the younger Zuma, the ConCourt ruling can be blamed on ‘white monopoly capital idiots’ who have ‘pissed in their backyard’. Strong words indeed from the social media-savvy Dudu, who went on to encourage supporters of uBaba to ‘come and get their land’, hinting that Stellenbosch could be targeted due to its wealthy inhabitants.

“We are descendants of Shaka Zulu. We are first going to deal with these idiots that have been sent by white monopoly capital (WMC) to come and piss in our backyard, and then because you provoked us, we are coming for our land…and we will start in Stellenbosch.” | Dudu Zuma-Sambudla

Can Zuma overturn his ConCourt conviction?

The loyal disciples of JZ are out in full force. Carl Niehaus will be giving an address to the masses camped outside of Nkandla later on Friday, and Andile Lungisa – famous for smashing a jug over a fellow councillor’s head – is also ranting about the process of justice in South Africa. The ANC representative is now lobbying the state to reject Zuma’s jail term.

“This morning, we will deliver a Petition to the Judicial Service Commission, the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa, the National Council of Provinces, the President of the Republic and the ConCourt about the recent judgment by Justice Khampepe… the judiciary is under the control of white monopoly capital, and we must now liberate ourselves.”

Nkandla now has a ‘heavy police presence’

Meanwhile, SAPS has beefed up its presence on the roads leading towards Nkandla. They have formed a roadblock near the estate, and they are checking drivers for licences and registrations. This comes after gunshots were fired into the air by some supporters, sparking some hugely significant security concerns.
