Gauteng: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

UVB sunburn index: High.

Mpumalanga: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers. It will be cloudy in the east with morning fog patches.

Limpopo: Cloudy in the east in the morning with fog patches and drizzle, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south from late afternoon. It will be hot in places in the Western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley.

North-West province: Hot in the west, otherwise fine and warm, but partly cloudy in the west and central parts with isolated showers and thundershowers spreading to the east from the afternoon.

Free State: Cloudy over the extreme eastern parts with fog patches where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east.

Northern Cape: Partly cloudy and cool in the south, otherwise warm but hot over the interior. Isolated showers and thundershowers are possible in the south-east from late afternoon. Morning fog patches along the coast with moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly wind.

Western Cape: Cloudy to partly cloudy over the central and eastern parts at first with morning rain along the south coast and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and warm to hot but cool in places along the south-west and southern coastal areas. It will be very hot in places over the West Coast District. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly to easterly, reaching near gale over the south-west in the afternoon.

UVB index: Very high.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain but scattered south of the escarpment. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly becoming north-easterly from afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool but warm in the north-east. Scattered showers and rain are expected. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
