Gauteng

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches over the highveld and escarpment, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Limpopo

Temperature: Cloudy in the north with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

North West

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the central and eastern parts, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy over the southeastern parts in the afternoon.

Free State

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the north-eastern parts, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in the east from afternoon.

Northern Cape

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, but very hot in the extreme north-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly becoming north-westerly overnight.

Western Cape

Temperature: Fine and warm with high-level clouds, becoming cloudy over the south-western parts from the afternoon, spreading to the east by the evening. Light rain is expected over the extreme south-western parts from late evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh west to north-westerly, while strong between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas during the afternoon, but south-westerly along the south coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape

The Western half: Cloudy with fog patches in places in the south at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot.

The Western half – The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly, becoming moderate south westerly in the afternoon.

The Eastern half: Cloudy with fog patches in places in the south at first, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate north-easterly.
