1.Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kamiesberg Municipality (Northern Cape), Matzikama and Bergrivier Municipalities (Western Cape).

1. A Heat Wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in Richtersveld municipality (Northern Cape) until Friday (01/07/2022).

Temperature: Fine and cold but cool in the north.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and cold to cool.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy in the north, becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon, otherwise fine and cool, but cold over the central parts.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and cold to cool.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and cold.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Warm along the north coast and adjecent interior, otherwise fine and cool, but cold in the south.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northeasterly to easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Fine and cool, but warm in the west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly along the south coast, otherwise moderate to fresh.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Partly cloudy in places in the morning, otherwise fine and cool.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northwesterly, becoming north-easterly in the afternoon.
The Eastern half -Fine and cool, but cold north of the escarpment.
The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northwesterly, becoming north-easterly from late morning.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the north-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light westerly to northwesterly, becoming north-easterly in the afternoon.
