Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy with isolated evening showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east.

Free State:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the east and the southern interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east, but fine in the west.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool, but cold over the southern parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the central and southern parts, otherwise and cool but warm over the interior of the West Coast District.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly, but easterly along the south coast.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Partly cloudy at first, otherwise fine and cool

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.

The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and cool.

The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool, but cold in places in the west. Isolated showers and rain are expected but scattered along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to southeasterly, becoming north-easterly south of Richard’s Bay in the afternoon.
