Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be warm in the north.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment and Higveld areas, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be warm over the Lowveld where it will be partly cloudy.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy along the south coast and eastern interior in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but hot over the Central Karoo.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Partly cloudy and warm to hot.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate easterly from the afternoon.

The Eastern half -Cloudy with a chance of light rain south of the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly west of Kei Mouth in the morning, otherwise moderate north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior where it will be cool, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, except along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly.
