Gauteng

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool except in the extreme north where it will fine and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy with evening isolated showers and thundershowers along the escarpment.

Limpopo

Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the extreme south-east in the evening.

North West

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, with isolated morning showers and thundershowers over the extreme south-east.

Free State

Temperature: Fine and cold to cool but partly cloudy with morning isolated showers and thundershowers over the north and east.

Northern Cape

Temperature: Morning fog along the coast and over the central interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool but very cold over the southern high-ground. It will become fine from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh south to south-easterly from the afternoon, but strong at times north of Port Nolloth.

Western Cape

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the north-western parts, otherwise partly cloudy and cold, becoming fine from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north to north-westerly, but strong westerly along the south coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape

The Western half: Partly cloudy and cold with morning showers over the central parts and light snow over the mountains of the central parts, otherwise fine.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong westerly, moderating in the afternoon.

The Eastern half: Partly cloudy and cold with morning showers south of the Amatole Mountains and light morning snow over the mountains bordering Lesotho.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong westerly, moderating in the late afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool becoming cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh north-easterly in the extreme north at first, otherwise fresh to strong south-westerly, moderating towards the evening.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
