ANC Elective Conference 2017: jacob Zuma blames media conspiracy for dividing ANC

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA – SEPTEMBER 2: President Jacob Zuma responds to a question during an interview in Cape Town.

The National Day of Action or Opposition March is in full swing today, leaders from almost all the opposition parties have already addressed the crowds at Church Square in Pretoria. The crowd have just begun to march towards the Union Buildings.

A Daily Maverick journalist was in awe at the crowd size so far today.

EFF National Spokesperson (and people’s bae) Mbuyiseni Ndlozi spoke to journalists earlier this morning. During an interview with TimesLIVE he had more strong words for President Zuma, this time in line with the president’s claims that last week’s marches were “racist”.

“Mr Zuma must be consitent, he ought to know, the reason there are still racists in our country, proud enough to publicise their ideas on social media is because him as a leader, has done nothing to disrupt the conditions that make racisim flourish.”

Ndlozi then laid a scathing attack on the ANC’s entire 23-year rule, saying in that time the conditions for black people have not been transformed.

They [the anc] have done nothing to disrupt white privellege, if anything they should drop their heads in shame that their are still racists proud enough to do such things.”

We will have all the coverage of the National Day of Action as it continues throughout the day. Check out the Mbuyiseni Ndlozi interview on racism below.
