In the video, a woman is seen lying on the ground while an older man is violently dragging her by her hair. He then holds her down.

According to another post, the man has not been arrested yet, and the victim lives in fear.

From the conversation in the video, it seems like the older man reversed and hit the woman’s car. He can be heard telling someone that he hit her by accident and wants to go to the police station but the woman took his car keys and is now refusing to give it back. .

This comes as Police Minister Bheki Cele earlier this month said crimes of gender-based violence and femicide remain a priority for the South African Police Service.

POLICE MINISTER SAID THERE WAS A DECREASE IN GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE

“Dedicated GBV desks are now available at 381 police stations across the country.

“The establishment of the GBV desks will be finalised at the end of March this year.”

Cele said the decreased in reported rape is due to gender-based violence awareness campaigns.
