Watch Tshwane Emergency Service Department has close the End Street bridge in Centurion from all directions and has asked people not to remove the barricades indicating it is closed.

Tshwane Emergency services Deputy Chief Charles Mabaso warned motorists that the End Street Bridge in Centurion is also close to motorists driving 4×4 vehicles and asked that they not even attempt to go over the bridge.

Mabaso says a vehicle is trapped on Rodger Dyson Street on the corner of Industrial Road in Pretoria Industrial.
He said there was also flooding at Rooihuiskraal and warned motorists to be extra careful.

Meanwhile, Tshwane emergency services recovered the body of a man who had been swept away in the Apies River on Friday, 10 February 2023.
Mabaso said the man’s body was recovered by the South African Police K9 Diving Unit on Sunday afternoon, 12 February 2023, in the vicinity of the Wonderboom Junction.

“This is the second incident in the vicinity of the Pretoria Zoo in less than a week. Another man drowned when the river swept him away on Friday, 3 February 2023. His body was recovered in Pretoria North on Saturday, 4 February 2023,” says Emergency Services Deputy Chief Thabo Charles Mabaso.
