A 48-year-old mother single-handledly faced off with a gang attacking a man like a pack of wild animals.
THE MOTHER, A POLICE OFFICER, WALKED OVER TO THE FIGHT AND INTERVENED
According to a report by Daily Mail UK, the mother, Clare Larkey-Jones, 48, has been commended for her bravery.
Clare, a female police officer, stepped into the middle of the gang attack in Caernarfon, north Wales, after spotting the commotion as she returned home from an 11-hour shift earlier this year.
The victim, a young man in his 20s, was being badly beaten before the mother-of-three pulled away the 19-year-old ringleader Callum Lee Davies.
SHE HEARD A LOT OF SHOUTING AND SAW A GANG ATTACKING A YOUNG MAN
Clare told the media that she had just finished an 11-hour shift and was picking up her brother and his girlfriend before going home when she heard a lot of shouting.
“I told my brother to stay in the car, and I walked over, and a gang of lads was picking on a young man in his 20s.
“They were like a pack of wild animals and started beating him up. They stopped when I came over, but then they started again.
“I just went on auto-pilot and got hold of the ring leader, shouted at them and pulled him off before they ran away and then called the police and ambulance.”

The victim of the brutal attack was taken to a hospital with a 3cm cut to his face as well as bruising and swelling to his eye.
SHE INTERVENED AND IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE FIGHT
A judge thanked Clare, who was present in court at her request, on behalf of the people of Caernarfon.
“I wanted to thank you and commend you for your bravery that night. I’ve seen what this man is capable of in relation to other offences and had you not intervened, there’d have been a very real risk of more serious injury to [the victim] and certainly a real risk of more public disorder.”
This reminded us of the young female farmer who fought back when a thieve tried to rob her.
An opportunist thief recently got the surprise of his life when he tried to grab a cellphone from a female farmer walking down the street. The young woman turned around and beat him over the head with her keys until he gave up and ran away empty-handed.
