Authorities have not disclosed the amount of money that was robbed at a supermarket in Krugersdorp this past weekend.

The surveillance footage that was taken at the supermarket shows three unidentified men enter Max Cash & Carry early Saturday morning.

According to Sergeant Tshepiso Mashele, the police’s spokesperson, at the time when the 71-year-old store owner was in his office, the three men entered the store and held staff members at gunpoint.

Flash robbers knew the layout of the Krugersdorp supermarket

One of them held the store owner and instructed him to give them the money. According to Mashele,

“it is alleged that the suspect pointed at him with a firearm and demanded money. He gave the suspects money and they fled the scene in a silver Toyota Corolla with false registration numbers.”

Judging by the swiftness of their actions, it seems like the suspects knew exactly where the money was and how many people were at the store.

The woman seen wearing domestic uniform let out a cry when she saw one of the suspects with a gun pointed at her. She was quickly contained and shoved away from the view of the door, while the second suspect went up the stairs to confront the store owner.
