Nothing helps your self-esteem quite as much as a brand new haircut.
Not long ago we reported that the City of Cape Town plans on making MyCiti bus rides free for the unemployed and now there’s this guy, restoring our faith in humanity and making the lives of Cape Town’s homeless that little bit better.

Mark Hughes of GetMarked hair salon in Roeland Street is giving back to the community, one awesome haircut at a time.
Now, if you’ve ever been to the hairdresser when feeling down and out you’d know just how big of a ‘pick-me-up’ a new do can be, and Hughes agrees. Life without a home is tough enough, so why not make people’s day that little bit better with a free haircut?
