Floods and high-tides have been in the news headlines, with venues like the Brass Bell Restaurant especially affected as this video shows.
More extreme weather conditions have been predicted for South Africans, but the weather isn’t unique to this part of the continent. Floods have also been spotted in other parts of the world, including a video of conditions in the United Kingdom that looks pretty similar to SA the past few days.

The South African Weather Service has issued continuous weather warnings against floods and high-tides: areas like the City of Cape Town, Hermanus, and Cape Agulhas are under special watch according to their website guide for weather warnings.

People are advised to avoid adverse weather conditions, and monitor weather reports for their area.
Be especially careful when attempting to travel during these extreme weather conditions, according to SA Government resources.
It’s not just Southern Africa that has reported flooding and high-tides.

Other parts of the world are also experiencing the same extreme weather conditions right now, including the town of Devon in the United Kingdom.
