The Cape Town CBD has been brought to a standstill as protesters and police engage in skirmishes around parliament, check it out.
MPs attending finance minister Pravin Gordhan’s mini budget speech have been told to stay in parliament as the situation outside escalates. Shop owners in the CBD have also started closing their doors early, having seen what the FeesMustFall protesters did to some stores up north.
