A Russian oligarch has revealed that President Vladimir Putin is gravely ill and suffering from blood cancer, New Lines Magazine reports.

According to the publication, the oligarch who revealed this has close ties to the Kremlin – and it is all in a secret recording.

“The recording represents rare testimony by someone with proven ties to the Russian government that its fanatical dictator may well be seriously unwell,” the magazine said of the comments, which were apparently made during a mid-March discussion with someone described as a “Western venture capitalist.”

“He absolutely ruined Russia’s economy, Ukraine’s economy and many other economies — ruined [them] absolutely. The problem is with his head. … One crazy guy can turn the world upside down,” the oligarch said of Putin.

MYSTERY OLIGARCH ‘HOPES’ PUTIN DIES

While the magazine doesn’t name the oligarch, it is being reported that he currently lives outside of Russia and is considered one of the wealthiest men in that country. The extent of his ties to Vladimir Putin aren’t clear at this point, but in the recording, he can be heard criticising the Kremlin’s decision to launch an invasion of its neighbour.

Another shocker in the audio? The man says “we all hope” Putin dies from his cancer or possibly from some intervention such as a coup, to spare Russia from further misfortune.

Putin’s health has often been called into question, but his office maintains all if well with him.
