Six people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a car on the R60 road between Worcester and Robertson.

Six people, including two children, were killed in an early morning head-on collision between a truck and a car on Saturday, 29 October. The incident occurred on the R60 road between Worcester and Robertson in the Western Cape.

TWO CHILDREN, FOUR ADULTS KILLED IN WESTERN CAPE ACCIDENT

South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg said a truck and a car were involved in a head-on collision on the R60 road in the early hours of Saturday.

The Worcester police station opened a culpable homicide case in the wake of the accident. The circumstances that led to the accident are under investigation.

“…six occupants, which include two children, of the vehicle passed away. The identities of the deceased persons are yet to be established. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation,” said Twigg.
