Police still searching for eight-year-old girl who went missing in November

Tshwarelo Makati left her home in Tlakameng Village for school on Tuesday, 2 November 2021, and never returned.

The North West police are appealing to the public to help track down eight-year-old Tshwarelo Makati from Tlakgameng Village who was last seen in November 2021.

POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING GIRL

South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Captain Aafje Botma said Tshwarelo left home to go to school on Tuesday, 2 November 2021, and never returned home.

“A search was conducted around the village and surrounding areas of Tlakgameng without any success. Extensive investigations were done and all leads were followed up with no success,” said Botma.

Tshwarelo’s last known attire was her school uniform, which consists of a white shirt, dark blue skirt and black school shoes.

The missing child is described as having a fair complexion with a slender build and brown eyes. She is approximately one metre tall, said police.

Members of the public with information about her whereabouts are encouraged to contact the investigating officer, Captain Jannie Haasbroek of the Vryburg Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS), at 071-354-8102 or call Crime Stop at 08600-10111.
