Late on Tuesday night, 31 January 2023, reservoirs in the City of Tshwane feeding Soshanguve, Mooikloof, Grootfontein, and Laudium started to recover due to increased water pressure from Rand Water.

RAND WATER INCREASED TSHWANE WATER PRESSURE

This positive change follows after the City of Tshwane Executive Mayor Randall Williams said he had constructive engagement with the CEO and Board Chairperson for Rand Water on the water supply challenges plaguing Tshwane.

The mayor said they are fully committed to working with Rand Water better to manage the city’s water demand and consumption.
